Friday 5 December 2025 All 4 Bay Boys’ Football Teams Reach Play-Offs! We are absolutely delighted and incredibly proud to announce that ALL FOUR of our boys' football teams have finished or qualified in the top two of their leagues this season. Every squad now heads into one final match with the chance to bring home either a winner or runners-up medal!Tom Dye, IOW Schools Football Secretary for Boys, summed up just how special this is: “This is the first time in my eight years in the role that this achievement has happened. Huge congratulations to The Bay players and their PE staff for this accolade.”We can tell you this didn't happen by luck. It came from graft, commitment, resilience, and a group of boys who have worn our school badge with real pride.Here are the dates for our final games of the season. Friday 31 October 2025 Sewage works causing disruption to vehicle access We are writing to inform you that due to essential repair works on the collapsed sewage system by Southern Water, just outside the school boundary (secondary site), there will be significant disruption to vehicle access for at least the first week back after half term.

Friday 10 October 2025 Blue House Community Day On Friday 10th October, Blue House came together for an amazing Community Day to raise money for their chosen house charity — Sandown and Shanklin Independent Lifeboat. Nearly 500 students and staff completed a mini marathon course featuring our very own ‘London Landmarks' including a homemade Tower Bridge, the Cutty Sark, Buckingham Palace and The Mall! Students brought in £1 to wear mufti and the Blue House Council sold 400 bags of pick 'n' mix, all to support this local cause.

Thursday 21 August 2025 GCSE Results 2025 At The Bay Church of England School, students, parents and staff were together celebrating a wonderful set of GCSE and Vocational results this morning. Delighted Headteacher, Emma Bowden commented, “We are incredibly proud of our students, whose results reflect their dedication and commitment to learning. This cohort has been exceptional, showing great maturity and resilience throughout their studies despite the challenges they faced during Year 6 and 7 with ongoing COVID lockdowns and disruptions to their time at school”.

Wednesday 16 July 2025 Wimbledon Finals! A group of Year 6 pupils, accompanied by Mrs Dunford and Mrs Lawrence, enjoyed a wonderful day at Wimbledon for finals day on Sunday. They watched an exciting men's wheelchair singles final between Oda and Hewett, which went to 3 sets before Oda was victorious! They also paid a visit to ‘Henman Hill.'

Friday 20 June 2025 Year 11 Prom On Wednesday 18th June, our Year 11 students celebrated the end of their GCSE journey in style with a spectacular prom at the stunning Landguard Manor. The sun was shining, spirits were high, and the evening was filled with laughter, music, and memories to last a lifetime. Arriving in style on the red carpet, students spent the evening playing garden games, bucking bronko, enjoying fresh pizza and dancing, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Friday 20 June 2025 Year 6 London Trip his week, Year 6 pupils embarked on an unforgettable adventure to London—and what an action-packed trip it was! Their journey began aboard HMS Belfast, where the children explored the historic warship and learned all about life at sea during wartime. Next, it was all aboard The Clipper, zooming along the Thames and soaking up London's skyline. The cable car ride offered breath-taking views of the city. The children were in awe of the architecture of St Paul's Cathedral and Tower Bridge.
