• Friday 14 March 2025 U9 Football v Nine Acres On Thursday, the U9 boys hosted Nine Acres in the league quarter final. From kick off, Nine Acres put a lot of pressure on the team, but an excellent shot from Toby that sneaked through the goalkeeper's leg saw The Bay take the lead. Nine Acres continued to attack and got themselves a goal just before half time. In the second half, a couple of excellent saves from Harvey kept the boys in the game. The game was fairly even and looked like it was heading for penalties, before an outside of the box rocket from Logan whizzed its way into the top corner. The score finished 2-1 to The Bay, and takes the boys through to play Newport in the semi final next week.
• Monday 10 March 2025 British Science Week ritish Science week is a ten-day celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths, which took place this year between 7th and 14th March. Each year there is a theme and this year it was ‘Adaptations’. Adaptations are key features or behaviours that an organism has that make it more suited to its environment and therefore increases chances of survival and reproduction. Adaptations have been studied for many years and have driven theories, such as Charles Darwin’s natural selection theory, and have been linked to the driving force for evolution.

• Friday 7 March 2025 U13 League Champions In the last game of the season, the U13s faced a tough challenge against Cowes in a nail-biting encounter. Both teams fought hard throughout, but it was a moment of brilliance from Betsy, whose assist set up Maisy to score the decisive goal. The team held on to their 1-0 lead, showcasing determination and teamwork until the final whistle.This victory not only sealed the win on the day but also capped off an incredible unbeaten league campaign, confirming the U13s as well-deserved league champions. Congratulations to the whole team on a fantastic season!

• Thursday 6 February 2025 Dance Live Success! A huge congratulations to everyone who took part in Dance Live on Thursday 6th February. We came 2nd place with awards for Best Technical and Costume. The children were amazing and represented the school brilliantly.

• Tuesday 14 January 2025 Year 7 Indoor Island Football Champions The Year 7 boys attended the Island Indoor football tournament, hosted by Medina College, on Tuesday evening. The boys played some great football against some teams and were able to win every game and secured the overall winners title. The Year 7 boys team have now won the outdoor and indoor titles this year. Well done boys!

• Wednesday 30 October 2024 The Bay CE School achieves prestigious UNICEF Rights Respecting Schools Bronze Accreditation The Bay CE School has achieved a Bronze RRSA: Rights Committed School accreditation. The Bronze: Rights Committed is the first stage of the Rights Respecting Schools Award and the school, across both the primary and secondary sites, will now work towards silver and gold.
