Bay CE School students are gifted a Meeting Pod

The Bay CE School has been gifted a Meeting Pod from The Meeting Pod Company. The Pod is based in the school ‘Careers Hub and Learning Resource Centre’; providing valuable insight into working in a professional business environment.  The Pod enables small groups to work dynamically on careers projects and discussions, as well as offering a quiet, independent learning space for pupils to browse through careers literature; research career pathways and resources online and support private 1-2-1 career chats with our careers adviser to discuss ideas and plans.

Mrs Bowden, Headteacher said

“We are so grateful for the generosity of The Meeting Pod Company. Having a beautiful, private space within our Careers Hub and Learning and Resource Centre will have a positive impact on so many students. Careers guidance at The Bay is so important in raising the aspirations of our students and encouraging them to aim high. Having a new, dedicated space for research and careers talks is fantastic.”
