Connie is British Champion

Congratulations to Connie B-S on her outstanding recent rowing achievements.

As previously reported, Connie was selected to represent Great Britain in an international head-to-head competition against France. After a challenging start to the race, Connie showed incredible determination and composure to pull away from the field, securing a comfortable victory and winning her first international gold medal in Great Britain colours.

Connie has continued her exceptional form at the British Rowing Championships, progressing through several highly competitive rounds to claim the gold medal in the J15 1x Single Sculls, earning the prestigious title of British Champion.

This is a remarkable achievement and a testament to Connie's hard work, dedication and resilience. Everyone at The Bay CE School is incredibly proud of her and wishes her every success as she continues her exciting rowing journey.
