Indoor Athletics

On Tuesday, our fantastic Y5/6 athletics team travelled to Ventnor to take part in the island indoor athletics competition. The team started with their individual field events which included javelin, triple jump and speed bounce. Abigail produced a brilliant performance in the long jump event finishing in 3rd place. Kacper also achieved 3rd place in the chest push event. Finally, we competed in our track relay races with everyone competing extremely well against some very fast runners! The team achieved 6th place overall and should be so proud of themselves. Well done Lily, Orlaith, Imogen, Abigail, Betsy, Zack, Kacper, Filip, Oliver, Caleb and Harry.
