Did you know?
- Community pantries and larders are free to join.
- Anyone can use them to top up their weekly shop - you don't need to be on benefits.
- Join up and for £5 a week, receive over £15 worth of food.
- You don't need a referral, just contact a pantry or larder directly to join.

Parent Engagement Day
Children and Young People Services are hosting a Parent Engagement Event on Saturday 4 November at Holyrood Hall, 70 High Street, Newport, PO30 1BA.
The event will offer parents the opportunity to speak to local organisations and teams about the work they do and the support they offer. Representatives from the following organisations and teams will be in attendance:
· Barnardo’s
· IOW Family Centres & Early Help
· Mental Health Support Teams
· Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team
· Children’s Therapies (Occupational Therapy, Physio, Speech and Language Therapy)
· The Early Years SEN team
· Youth Trust
Please feel free to drop in between 9.30am and 3.30pm. The event will cover services for children up to the age of 18 with the morning focusing on services Up to Reception Year from 9.30am-12.30pm and the afternoon focusing on Year One and Above from 12.30pm-3.30pm. Refreshments will be provided.
