Remembrance Day
This morning, all of our students and staff observed a two-minute silence to honour and reflect on the service and sacrifices of our Armed Forces. One group of students held their silence in front of the war memorials within our school.
This week, all our Collective Worships are student-led, with moving presentations exploring the significance of Remembrance Day and the meaning behind wearing poppies.
We’re so proud of our students for leading such thoughtful and powerful reflections.
Two of our Year 6 pupils attended the Remembrance Service in Sandown on Sunday and laid a Poppy Wreath on behalf of the school community.
Well done to our students from the secondary site who attended the Remembrance Service on Sunday to pay respects to those who have lost their lives in the war.
