Sewage works causing disruption to vehicle access

We are writing to inform you that due to essential repair works on the collapsed sewage system by Southern Water, just outside the school boundary (secondary site), there will be significant disruption to vehicle access for at least the first week back after half term.

During this period:

• No cars will be able to use or park outside the school at drop off or pick up times. This also includes opposite the bus bay.
  
  
• School buses will not be affected and will continue to operate as normal.
  
  
• A temporary pipe and ramp will be installed across the road outside school, meaning that traffic will be very limited in this area.

To help ensure the safety of all pupils and to keep traffic moving smoothly, we kindly ask that you arrange to drop off and collect your child further down The Fairway or on the other side of the rugby club. We have spoken with the Transport Police, PCSOs and Southern Water and requested additional support with traffic over the next week.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while these urgent works are completed, and we will update you if the situation changes.
