Sportshall Athletics

On Monday afternoon, some of the Year 5s got the opportunity to take part in the Year 5/6 Sportshall Athletics competition. The team started with their individual field events, which included javelin, long jump, and speed bounce. Abigail had a fantastic performance in the chest push coming 2nd, and Tony came 1st in the vertical jump. After the field events, the team moved onto the track relay races with everyone competing brilliantly against some fast opponents.

The team came 5th overall missing out on 4th by 2 points. The team should be very proud of themselves competing against Year 6s, and it was a great experience for the team ready for next year. Well done, The Bay!
