Food offers over the summer holidays
As always, there is the Isle of Wight Foodbank- Isle of Wight Foodbank | Helping Local People in Crisis . The Foodbanks are located in various towns across the Island- Cowes, Ryde, Newport, Freshwater and Shanklin. Opening days and times differ across the locations so please check beforehand. The Foodbank works uses a voucher referral system, and the vouchers can be issued by various agencies- see list below.

As well as being able to issue Foodbank vouchers, Pan Together also has an affordably priced café and a help yourself trolley.

In Sandown, there is ‘Free Food in The Bay’. This is a free food shelf for those experiencing financial difficulties. Email pattilou@hotmail.com for more information.
Better Days Café are offering free breakfast and packed lunches. No referral is needed, and all children of primary and secondary school age are able to benefit. For more information please contact kirstychapman1975@gmail.com, 074740 84240, and see attached poster for more detail.
At Beefeater, with every adult breakfast purchased, two children under the age of 16 can have an unlimited breakfast for free. During the day, 3 courses off the children menu costs just £6.99. Kids Eat Free Breakfast at Beefeater | School Holidays 2023
There is a kids eat free deal at Morrisons Café- Kids Eat Free - Ts&cs (morrisons.com) . With every adult meal purchased over £4.49, you can get one free meal from the children’s menu (for young people under 16). As well as this, if you “Ask for Ellen” in the Morrisons Café, they will provide you with two crumpets, butter and jam, for free. This is running from 17th July-13th August.
At Asda Café, children eat for £1 with no minimum spend required. Meals for adults are half price after 3pm daily too. With any Asda purchase, a free Ella’s baby food pouch can be claimed.
Sainsbury’s Café also have a kids eat for £1 deal, when an adult hot main meal is purchased.
At M&S Café, kid’s munch meals are free when £5 or more is paid on food or drink in the café- this offer is not available on weekends.

We’ve organised 3 WEEKS of football over on the fantastic 3G AstroTurf at The Bay CE Secondary!
My name is Danny and I'm the Football Fun Factory Head Coach on the IOW.
I’m excited to announce that this year, we are working in partnership with Hampshire County Council to help children in the local community access free sport through the HAF Initiative.
Through the Holiday Activities & Food Initiative (HAF) we can offer children aged 5-12 years old, who are eligible for free school meals a FREE place on our Summer Football Fun Camps on the Isle of Wight.
There will be no charge to parents for a full week camp & lunch is provided each day.
