U10 Boys Cup

After winning their first cup match against Carisbrooke, the U10 boys travelled to Greenmount in the next round. The boys started well against a strong Greenmount team, they had to work hard in defence for the opening 5 minutes, with Max making some great saves. Once they settled into the game the opportunities started to come, with Tony’s glancing header from a corner and his overhead kick from a cross both narrowly missing the goal, but they finally got their goal when Kian scored a rocket from the halfway line.

In the second half, The Bay had some more fantastic opportunities with the Greenmount keeper making some phenomenal saves. Tony got the second goal, with a lovely lob over the keeper's head from outside the box. Tony then scored again from a corner to finish the game 3-0. The Bay progress through to the next round of the cup, and look forward to finding out who they will play. Good luck boys!
