The first game was against Herne, and The Bay started with confidence having their first opportunity in the opening few minutes. The first half continued to be a good battle, with Florence going on a run, passing 3 defenders and narrowly missing the goal. The second half saw the girls having to sit back in defence more, but with two fantastic saves from Chloe they kept a clean sheet and the match finished 0-0.

The second game was against a strong Velmead team, again The Bay started the game really positively having a lot of possession. The girls created a lot of chances but just couldn't quite hit the target. Sophie nearly scored after the ball rolled along the goalline, and Kimi took the ball on the turn but couldn’t quite get it round the keeper. In the last few minutes, Caitlin spirited back in defence to block an almost certain goal, to keep the score at 0-0.

The final game, Neve scored early after a run from her own half against Copnor. In the second half the team unfortunately conceded two goals, but continued to work hard to try and get a result. In midfield Jenna worked tirelessly to create opportunities and stop the opposition team. In the last minute of the game Lottie made a fantastic save after stepping in goal for Chloe. The game finished 2-1 to Copnor.

It was a brilliant day, such a fantastic experience playing against some very strong opposition. The girls had a lovely day, and should be immensely proud of how they performed, and how they represented the school! Well done girls!
