U15 Indoor Cricket Champions

The Bay U15 girls’ cricket squad travelled to Medina today to compete in the U15 Indoor Cricket Tournament, with a place in the mainland competition later this year on the line.

Their opening match against The Island Free School (TIFS) B started a little nervously with the ball, as a few costly extras crept in. However, the girls responded brilliantly with the bat — a strength that would shine throughout the day.

Next up was Christ the King (CTK). This time The Bay were excellent with the ball, restricting CTK to just 55 runs. CTK showed great resilience with the bat, but The Bay held their nerve to secure the win.

In the final group match, The Bay defeated Medina to book their place in the final. There, they faced TIFS A and produced another superb performance to take the victory and win the tournament!
