In the last few weeks, the U9 girls football team played their final three league matches. They were up against a Newport team followed only days later by Ryde school, despite both teams being strong this didn’t stop the girls from The Bay from working hard, pulling together as a team and creating some wonderful opportunities to score. Neither match saw the result we wanted, but the teamwork, and passion this team had can’t be beaten. Another match saw the girls host Lanesend and in a very well fought game, the match ended 0-0.

Although, this was the girls’ last game this season, it has been a fantastic start to their school footballing career and the experience they have had will help them to look forward to more matches next season.
