U9 Football Cup

After the U9s won against Barton in the cup before half term, it was time to play Gurnard in the next round. The Bay had a number of chances in the first half with Eli and Charlie narrowly missing the goal. Gurnard kept attacking, and were rewarded with a goal near the end of the first half. In the second half, The Bay defended well, and Mario made a couple of good saves, unfortunately this didn’t stop Gurnard scoring another 3 goals. The Bay began to tire, but this didn’t stop them trying to push forward and attack in the final few minutes. It was a very strong Gurnard team, and The Bay battled hard in the wind and rain throughout the match, working as a team. The team look forward to their next league game in the coming weeks.
