U9 Girls League

The U9 girls played in the quarter final on Thursday against Gurnard. It was a very rainy afternoon, but that didn’t stop the girls from playing really some lovely football. The team started really confidently, with The Bay having most of the possession, this led to Neve scoring a fantastic goal early on. Lottie and Florence were solid in defence, they protected their goal brilliantly, with goalkeeper Evelyn not even having to make a save. Throughout the game Neve carried on scoring (another 4), including a rocket from outside the box, and even taking the ball around the goalkeeper before tapping it in. The whole team worked together for the 5-0 win, and they will play Newport in the semi finals. Good luck girls!
