U9 League Semi Final

With much nicer weather for their semi final, the U9 girls played Newport at home. The girls started on the front foot, having a lot of the possession, this led to The Bay getting a free kick that Neve shot right into the top corner. Continuing to put pressure on the Newport team, and stringing together some fantastic passes, the girls were rewarded with another 3 goals from Neve before half time. Into the second half, Newport started well but a solid defence from The Bay and some great saves from Evelyn kept Newport from scoring. Towards the end of the match, after a great passage of play, Florence passed a lovely ball into Caitlin who put it past the keeper for their final goal. The girls won 5-0, and are through to the U9 girls league final. Good luck girls!
