World Book Day Celebrations!
Children had a fantastic time celebrating World Book Day today!
World Book Day changes lives through a love of books and shared reading. Reading for pleasure allows children to use their imagination to explore new ideas, visit new places, and meet new characters. It supports their wellbeing, builds empathy, helps them understand their own identity, and gives them insight into the world and the views of others.
We saw some amazing costumes throughout the day — including Harry Potter, 101 Dalmatians, Minions, superheroes, Willy Wonka, Mary Poppins, and many more!
We are incredibly proud of the effort, creativity, and enthusiasm shown by both our pupils and our staff. What a wonderful celebration of reading!
