Year 5 Trip to Winchester Science Museum

Year 5 had a fantastic day at Winchester Science Centre. With an early start they made their way to Winchester by coach and ferry arriving at 10am. From there they had an activity-packed day which included making different types of slime in the laboratory; discovering more about space and forces in the Space Centre; exploring a variety of different scientific concepts by playing and simply 'making stuff work'; and finally a trip around the solar system and beyond in the planetarium. Staff commented on how well behaved the children were and how lovely it was to see so many children so inspired by Science. Well done Year 5!
