Year 5 and 6 friendly football

On Tuesday, some of the Year 5 and 6’s had the opportunity to play a friendly football match against St Francis. Two 5-a-side teams from The Bay and two from St Francis played a small tournament, with each team playing each other once. This was a brilliant chance for the group to experience a game situation, and showcase the hard work they have put in this year at break times, lunchtimes, and at after school clubs. It was a great experience, with the boys giving their all. They worked hard to put pressure on St Francis, and close the ball down. Each team rotated keepers throughout the matches, and there were some fantastic goalkeeping performances. The teams will continue to work hard ready for more games next season.
