We had a very successful afternoon at Medina College today in the IOW Schools Year 7 indoor cricket competition. Our A team won their two group games against Ryde Academy and The Island Free School comfortably earning a place in the final. Our B team won 1 and tied 1 of their group games, missing out on an all Bay final by 1 run.

In the 3rd place play off, our B team were victorious with a great win over The Island Free School. In the final our A team played against Medina. The tense game went down to the last ball of the match with The Bay needing 5 to win and we just came up 1 run short, earning the runners up place.

All in all a fantastic afternoon where our 12 girls played some fantastic cricket and ended up 2nd and 3rd out of 6 IOW Schools.
