Well done to our Year 7 & 8 boys cricket team who beat a very strong Medina team in the IOW Schools Indoor Final today.

Batting first, Thomas and Kian were our stand out batsmen in our total of 85 runs.

In reply, Medina started slowly after some tight bowling from Thomas and Harry, but then kicked on and looked the likely winners after flurry of 6’s.

Will’s bowling was tight and Harley’s keeping was tidy. With only 5 to win and 2 wickets in hand the Bay lads showed great spirit to take two late wickets at the death, with a great catch from Kian to win the match!

Special mention to Oscar for stepping in and playing at the last minute and for Joel for bring chief scorer!

Well done lads, we look forward to the outdoor season now after Easter
