Year 9 Basketball

Our Year 9 basketball boys are the IOW champions after a fantastic tournament last week at Medina College. The lads fully deserved the crown but had to show lots of grit, determination and skill to take home the trophy. We won our group with wins over Ryde (11-9) and Free School (in a shoot off). Then played a semi final against a strong Priory team, which we managed to win by just 1 basket (9-6). This set up a return fixture with Ryde Academy in the final, which we dominated from start to finish, winning the overall competition unbeaten. A fantastic performance from our whole team (Samuel B, Dillon B, Ben F, Matt M, George H, Jim D and Issac K).
