Article 12 reminds us that every child has the right to express their views, feelings, and wishes in all matters that affect them — and to have their voices taken seriously.

Last week, our pupils lived this out in action by voting for their new pupil leaders! A huge well done to all of our incredible Year 6 pupils who put themselves forward for House Captain and Vice Captain. These roles will play an important part in supporting the running of our wonderful school, and we know this Year 6 cohort will continue to be fantastic ambassadors.

We’re also thrilled to introduce our new Rights Respecting Schools Ambassadors — a pupil steering group from Years 6 to 10, passionate about learning and advocating for children’s rights.
