Student Leadership

We try to develop leadership skills amongst our pupils - empowering them to make decisions and evoke positive change. We are extremely proud of the Eco-champions, House Captains, Sports and Health Leaders and Cyber Ambassadors continue to be such positive members of our Bay community on the primary site. 

Eco-champions

Our eco-champions are very busy developing their own area of the school’s garden space. As part of the garden design and budgeting process, they were fortunate enough to visit B&Q Garden Centre where they were met by one of the lovely B&Q gardeners who was able to answer their questions and give them plant advice. They learnt that plants are like people: all completely different. They also discovered the different conditions that help a plant grow and discussed what they thought would grow best in our garden. The pupils made several purchases ready for our gardening club in school.

House Captains

Sports and Health Leaders

Our Sports and Health leaders from Y3 and Y6 support positive play on the playground and lead on games and sports activities.
