Friday 10 October 2025 Blue House Community Day On Friday 10th October, Blue House came together for an amazing Community Day to raise money for their chosen house charity — Sandown and Shanklin Independent Lifeboat. Nearly 500 students and staff completed a mini marathon course featuring our very own ‘London Landmarks' including a homemade Tower Bridge, the Cutty Sark, Buckingham Palace and The Mall! Students brought in £1 to wear mufti and the Blue House Council sold 400 bags of pick 'n' mix, all to support this local cause.

Thursday 21 August 2025 GCSE Results 2025 At The Bay Church of England School, students, parents and staff were together celebrating a wonderful set of GCSE and Vocational results this morning. Delighted Headteacher, Emma Bowden commented, “We are incredibly proud of our students, whose results reflect their dedication and commitment to learning. This cohort has been exceptional, showing great maturity and resilience throughout their studies despite the challenges they faced during Year 6 and 7 with ongoing COVID lockdowns and disruptions to their time at school”.

Friday 20 June 2025 Year 11 Prom On Wednesday 18th June, our Year 11 students celebrated the end of their GCSE journey in style with a spectacular prom at the stunning Landguard Manor. The sun was shining, spirits were high, and the evening was filled with laughter, music, and memories to last a lifetime. Arriving in style on the red carpet, students spent the evening playing garden games, bucking bronko, enjoying fresh pizza and dancing, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Friday 9 May 2025 Celebrating Maths Success We’re incredibly proud of our Year 9 and 10 students who recently took part in the prestigious UKMT Maths Challenge – a national competition that tests advanced problem-solving and mathematical reasoning.

Monday 10 March 2025 British Science Week ritish Science week is a ten-day celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths, which took place this year between 7th and 14th March. Each year there is a theme and this year it was ‘Adaptations’. Adaptations are key features or behaviours that an organism has that make it more suited to its environment and therefore increases chances of survival and reproduction. Adaptations have been studied for many years and have driven theories, such as Charles Darwin’s natural selection theory, and have been linked to the driving force for evolution.

Thursday 22 August 2024 GCSE Results 2024 At The Bay Church of England School, students, parents and staff were together celebrating a wonderful set of GCSE and Vocational results this morning. Delighted Headteacher, Emma Bowden commented, “We are extremely proud of our wonderful students and are so pleased that their results reflect the hard work and effort they have put into their studies. They have been a truly fantastic cohort who have in the main displayed levels of maturity and resilience”. Mrs Bowden added, “I would like to thank every one of our dedicated and talented team of staff, who together have helped to ensure that our students are able to seamlessly move on to their next exciting stage of their life journey and secure their first choice at sixth form, college, school or apprenticeship. We now wish our students the very best for the next chapter in their lives.
