Preferences 2025-2027 (for students currently in Year 9)
We are at a really important phase in education for students in Year 9. Over the next few weeks they will be making their Preference choices(see timeline below).
We, at The Bay, are totally committed to our students’ success and high achievement in their GCSEs and BTECs so that they have as much choice as possible for Post 16. We will support and guide students through this phase, in order for them to get what is best for them individually. Students will receive guidance from their tutor, in PSHE, through our assembly programme, from our Careers Advisors, from their subject teachers, their Director of Academic Achievement and later on an interview with a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
From November until February, students in Year 9 will have many experiences in supporting their future choices. This will culminate in the Preferences deadline on 28th March 2025.
