News update – Thursday 6th February 2020 2000 2000 The Bay CE School

Due to the smell of gas we have called the Fire Brigade and the gas company as a precaution. Early indications suggest that the smell was due to a vessel near Portsmouth. We can report that it has been verified that there are no issues on site and students are safe. The emergency services have confirmed that an evacuation is not necessary and we can continue with the day as normal.
