The U13 and U15 girls football team were both victorious when they travelled away to play Carisbrooke at the end of last week.
The U13’s had a hesitant first half, taking time to fall into formation, scoring just before half time with a goal from Roxy. That seemed to settle the nerves and the second half saw a further two goals from Roxy (making her first hat-trick of the year), a goal from Izzy and a goal from Mia, securing a 5-0 win. Player(s) of the match went to defenders Sophie, Holly and Angel for a clean sheet. Their next match is this Thursday Vs Ryde.
The U15s, led by Captain Faith, played superbly as a team. By half time they were leading 4-0, a hat-trick from Faith and a goal from Brook. They played consistently well in the second half with a goal from Milly; two more from Faith (bringing her own tally to 5) and a second for Brook, meaning they finished with a strong 8-0. Player(s) of the match: Faith and Tilly. Tilly for her continuous skill to keep the play moving throughout the game and thank you to Faith for her contribution to the match report.
