At the secondary site students in Years 7 and 8 attended an exciting, funny and entertaining performance by Adisa – the Verbalizer as part of World Book Day.
During the performance Adisa showcased some of his poetry. He got students to ask him questions and answered the question through poetry. The lecture theatre was full of laughter as the students were thoroughly entertained and engaged.
Adisa also led a series of workshops for students. With his guidance, tips and support they wrote their own poems about ‘home.’
At the primary site students dressed up as their favourite book characters.
