Our Year 6 pupils were invited to take part in a research project for Remembrance and some were filmed sharing their research.

‘Growing up in the Bay’ brings you a new film on the Sandown war memorial which was opened in 1921. One hundred years on, we take a look at this memorial which stands proud on the Sandown’s promenade.

Narrated by Retired Air Vice-Marshal Tony Staples, with contributions from Emily Jackson, Bill Wyke, Richard Wood and the Year 6 pupils at The Bay C of E School. Produced by Richard Priest.
