Our U9 girls had their second league game on Wednesday. They played Newport at the secondary site. All other games in our league had finished 0-0, so if one team could get a win they would be guaranteed to go through to the next stage of the league competition. The girls played really well, and midway through the first half the ball fell to Layla-Ann who put it past their keeper. The second half continued with a couple of blocked shots but also some brilliant defending to keep the score at 1-0. Well done girls!
