Geography
At the Bay C of E School (KS1/2) the children study Geography and History through exciting Learning Experiences. Each year group is working towards the National Curriculum programmes of study and subject content so as to ensure all the objectives are met. Children are encouraged to build on their skills and knowledge as they go through the school in both Geography and History.
Geography
At the Bay CE School for KS1/2 we aim to provide high-quality geography education which inspires pupil’s inquisitiveness and interest about the world and its people that will remain with them for the rest of their lives.
We endeavour to equip pupils with knowledge about diverse places, people, resources and natural and human environments, together with a deep understanding of the Earth’s key physical and human processes.
As pupils progress through key stage 1 and 2, their growing knowledge about the world should help them to deepen their understanding of the interaction between physical and human processes, and of the formation and use of landscapes and environments.
