Primary Houses

On the Primary site, we have developed a House System to mirror that on the Secondary, which will ensure consistency for children during their Bay journey. Our House System supports building:

  • a community feel among pupils
  • healthy competition
  • a sense of pride
  • leadership opportunities among pupils in Key Stage 2
  • role models for pupils across the Primary

While we have previously had a House Points system embedded in school practice, the addition of House events, competitions and House Community Days is further raising the profile and continuing to develop the House System.

We have four House colours (in line with those on the Secondary site): Red, Blue, Green and Yellow.

House update January 2020
We have started inter-house line ball this week for KS2 during PE lessons.
The Year 4 & 5 final was held this afternoon. Year 3 & 6 will be next week.
Year 4 – Blue vs Green
Year 5 – Red vs Green
All of Year 4 & 5 came out to cheer on their peers, it was a fantastic atmosphere.
Congratulations to Green in both year groups who were victorious! Miss Bird is very pleased!!
Good luck to Year 3 & 6 next week.
