Head of School (Secondary)

Welcome to The Bay CE School. It gives me great pleasure to be able to introduce myself to you as The Head of School. Our aim is to be the outstanding school of choice on The Isle of Wight. We are at the start of this exciting journey and since taking post I have spent a great deal of time with our aspirational students and I am clear that this is achievable.

We believe that every child can succeed in life if challenged and inspired appropriately. All of my staff are working incredibly hard to ensure that learning has no limits and we are committed to developing a culture and environment in which all students have the opportunity to excel.

The Bay CE School is being built upon the foundations of respect. Students need to demonstrate self-respect if they are going to be successful in life and equally as important they must be respectful of each other. We are all different and possess our own views, but everyone must be given the chance to have a voice in the knowledge that their opinion will be respected.

I look forward to getting to know as many parents and carers as possible during the next few terms. It is imperative that the communication and relationship between school and home is strong. Together we will deliver the high quality education that our students deserve.
