All students in Year 10 were told about an exciting Science Challenge today.
The details are below:
Working scientifically is a fundamental part of learning science. It is the sum of all the activities that scientists do and is a fundamental part of learning about and learning through science. These skills account for approximately 60% of your GCSE grade.
These skills fall broadly into four main strands:
- the development of scientific thinking
- experimental skills and strategies
- analysis and evaluation
- vocabulary, units, symbols and nomenclature.
This challenge is to help you build confidence in your scientific skills. You have a total of 10 scientific skills, which need to be completed by you to help you refine these skills.
