Climate Change Protest update from The School Council

Climate Change Protest update from The School Council 960 638 The Bay CE Secondary School

The School Council are really excited to share the great success of the Climate Change Protest last Friday (15/03/19). The Bay CE School had the largest attendance of any school on the Island (and by a lot!) so we’re confident that we brought plenty of energy to the event!

We’re also glad to see the media coverage of the protest and the conversation that we’ve helped to start. Our mission has always been to encourage more young people to get involved in both their communities and local politics, to raise awareness and understanding of Climate Change. This event has been a fantastic step in achieving this!

We have more big plans about protecting the environment in school coming up, these will be announced shortly, so be sure you don’t miss any updates!
