The experience and finesse of our crack Year 11 team bore fruits as they led by example in the competition which comprises a sprint, endurance event and relay at this year’s Island Indoor Rowing Championships. Hosted by the Bay, racing was fast and furious in an exciting new format.
Facing tough competition from all schools and over 150 competitors across the Island, the Bay demonstrated strength in depth to take over 20 individual victories and almost a clean sweep in all age group competitions!
A great result and a credit to each and every one of the team for their relentless effort, training and superb support for each other on the day. A special mention to Willow Samuel who competed admirably in an older age group!

Many rowers now go on to represent the school at the National Indoor Rowing Championships at the Copper Box Arena, Olympic Park, London next month.
