Edexcel BTEC Level 2 First Award in Children’s Play, Learning and Development
In Year 9, students can choose to study a BTEC course of Child Development. Over the duration of the course, students not only develop excellent knowledge and understanding of how children develop and what adults can do to support this development, they also learn to manage their own time, organise themselves and develop excellent exam and academic writing skills. The course boasts excellent results and outcomes for students and enables them to take up further study in Sixth Form, College or Apprenticeships and ultimately supports them into University and the workplace.
