We recognise that each student is a unique individual and we provide an extensive range of opportunities for all to broaden their experience and develop their interests, skills and talents.
The clubs list for 2020-21 will be updated in September 2020
Study outside the curriculum:
Our well equipped study centre provides excellent facilities for students to carry out private study before and after school. Study support sessions are held within departments to ensure that all students have access to additional help and advice should they need it.
Sport:
Students can take advantage of the unique sports facilities that we have available on site. With facilities such as; a climbing wall, athletics track, multi-gym and sports centre along with an astro turf, a dance studio and various pitches and courts, students can partake in a wide variety of activities and sports.
Performing Arts:
There is the opportunity to learn a new skill or showcase talents by taking up a musical instrument, performing in the school production or joining the Rock Challenge Team. Whether it be acting, dance, music or behind the scenes our performing arts department will inspire your creativity to flourish.
Art:
Students have the opportunity to develop their creative abilities by attending our art club. Exhibitions of work will be shown throughout the year and their talents are celebrated regularly.
Trips and Visits
Students can explore the world with confidence and build cultural links by participating in the many trips and visits that take place. This year our students will be participating in a New York, trip, a Paris trip, visiting London and heading to theatre productions across the South. We also have many educational mainland trips planned, including sports festivals and university trips.
